Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance?

Yes. Pride Rehab & Performance currently accepts Anthem/Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicare Part B, and Cigna/ASH, along with self-pay patients. Your out-of-pocket cost will depend on your individual plan, deductible, copay, coinsurance, and benefits.

Do I need a referral to book physical therapy?

Missouri allows direct access to physical therapy, so many patients can begin treatment without a referral. However, referral or authorization requirements may vary based on your insurance plan and circumstances.

What’s the difference between physical therapy and training?

Physical therapy focuses on pain, injury recovery, rehabilitation, and restoring function. Personal training focuses on strength, fitness, and performance. Depending on your goals, you may transition from physical therapy into personal training as you progress.

Can I use my HSA or FSA card?

Yes. HSA and FSA funds can generally be used for eligible physical therapy expenses. Eligibility for other services may depend on your plan and individual circumstances.

Do you offer packages?

Yes. Self-pay physical therapy packages and personal training packages are available for clients who prefer multi-visit options. Personal training memberships are also available for ongoing training.

Where do sessions take place?

Sessions are held at 1380 S. Kingshighway Blvd. in St. Louis, in a private facility equipped for both rehabilitation and performance training.

How do I schedule my first visit?

Use our scheduling portal and select Create New Case. Physical therapy patients can simply follow the prompts. Personal training and strategy-call clients should follow the instructions listed above on this page.

How long is the free strategy call?

Strategy calls are approximately 15 minutes. The scheduling portal may display a 60-minute visit when you select your time, but your strategy call will only take about 15 minutes.
